Wow! Don't ever go to bed while watching "Bridezillas". It only leads to dreams filled with yelling at your boyfriend for no apparent reason and flying off the handle about things like dresses and cake. Oh wait, I do that in reality all the time.
My inspiration, at the moment, has gone missing. Maybe it isn't my inspiration so much as my motivation and optimism. I need some encouragement that isn't my boyfriend telling me I'm wonderful (cause I'm already sure that he thinks I am, but not so sure that I actually am). Please encourage me! Or tell me I suck. Just give me something.
In an unrelated topic,we finally get a little relief for the next few days from the searing heat here in southern NJ. Let's hope this relief leads to a more positive attitude on my part. I'm just going to continue the positivity by posting beach pictures from last weekend...
It was such a nice weekend. We're planning a camping trip for sometime soon, and I am so looking forward to it!
I had a pretty busy weekend, but surprisingly managed to be semi-productive. I had some friends come and stay a couple of days and we went to the beach. It was very lovely. I wish I could have finished some other projects, but I found some time to be creative and made this watercolor painting:
I've been so busy trying to get my Etsy shop up and running. I really want it to do well! I hope it does well! Anyway, I promised some art and here it is. These are newer pieces and I will probably try to sell them as prints once I get my Etsy shop together.
As much as I like this first one, I'm going to have to redo it! It's so wrinkled from using watercolor on regular sketch paper. I have been trying to save it, but I think there is no hope for it. Oh well!
This last one too, I have to rescan beacause it is just losing so much in the translation to digital. I'll repost them both when they are fixed.
Hello, I have never posted anything on a blog, nor have I ever owned a blog. I'm going to write about whatever interests me at the moment. At this particular moment, I'm interested in trying to do something with my art. I took about 5 years off from art after graduating from college because I needed a break, and I also had my wonderful daughter who now finally lets me have some time to myself to create. This is my Isobel:
She is really amazing, but very time consuming.
Alright, more updates coming soon along with some art. Bye bye.
